Inspired by an iconic HDB block in Jurong East, this painting celebrates one of Singapore's many unique residential facades. I was drawn to the striking contrast between the traditional Chinese-inspired red roof motifs and the clean geometric lines of the building. Through this work, I wanted to capture the character and individuality of a familiar neighbourhood landmark, highlighting the beauty that can be found in Singapore's everyday urban landscape.
