This painting was inspired by a walk through Gardens by the Bay, where a cluster of ti plants immediately caught my attention. Instead of painting the scene as it appeared, I reimagined it throught bold expressive colours - turning the foliage into glowing reds and oranges against cool turquoise green.

I love how tropical landscapes can feek both energetic and peaceful at the same time! Through exaggerated colour and loose brushwork, I wanted to capture that feeling rather than create a literal representation
