“Sentosa Sunrise” was born from a quiet morning by the water, watching the first light rise over Sentosa. Living by the sea, I get to witness these small daily miracles of dawn, but this particular sunrise stayed with me - it felt like the world paused, just for a moment, to welcome the new day.

As the sun slowly climbed, the sky and sea glowed in golden warmth. The waves shimmered with light and shadow, moving with a rhythm that was both alive and deeply calming. It was one of those rare, perfect instants where everything felt still and yet full of energy.

In this painting, I wanted to carry that feeling onto the canvas - the fluid motion of the waves, the glow of sunlight spreading across the horizon, and the sense of peace that comes when you simply stop and take it all in.

“Sentosa Sunrise” isn’t just about what I saw, but about what I felt. It’s a reminder of how nature grounds us, restores us, and brings quiet joy into our lives.
