This painting is inspired by a morning walk by the water on Sentosa. The sun was rising, casting a golden glow over the horizon, and the sea was alive with small, restless waves. There was movement and energy in the water, but also a sense of peace in the way the light touched it - a balance between calm and motion that felt really special.

On the canvas, I wanted to hold onto that moment - the shimmer of sunlight across the waves, the rhythm of the sea, and the quiet beauty of a new day beginning.

For me, “Sentosa Sunrise #3” isn’t just about what I saw, but what I felt - a mix of energy and serenity that I hope comes through in the painting and into the space it’s in.
